Isn't "Psycodelic" a word-play with Psychedelic and Psycho(tic?)?

No. It's someone spelling psychedelic a) incorrectly, b) phonetically, c) both. This is what I mean when I say people are overthinking things.  Why was one of Brian's best loved classic songs originally logged as "We Don't Know" ?  Was it a hint at the uncertainty of modern life, a cry of frustration or a flat acceptance that the band have no clue ?  No - it just means he hadn't called the song "California Girls" yet.

I'm not sure that's correct… I don't recall any LPs by the Beech Boys, and plenty of folk get uppity (rightly so) when Murry, Audree or Mark Linett's names are spelled incorrectly, and they were all already in the nag by the mid '60s.

Whether it's correct or or not, it's not just "Heros": the word "Villians" is also spelled incorrectly four times, once on each of those boxes, in the same manner as it is on the hand-written list.   That has the potential to be more than coincidence, surely?
