All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.

Malc, so glad you got to see it. It sounds amazing! How sad that there were spare seats. I would have loved to have gone, as I am sure everyone here would agree. I wonder if they were given to "insiders".

Yes onto cassette! Did the switcheroo from side A to side B just after H&V.
Guess that's all folks....very nice performance with highlights from everyone but man....Al Jardine....star of the show. If we do get another Beach Boy's LP...please....more Al lead vocals

That was indeed a nice touch. One little moan - couldn't we have had 2 or 3 more songs instead of Rhinestone Cowboy and Jo Whiley reading out Tweets...she should read this thread instead !

And the myth goes on that Jan&Dean's material was all Brian's stuff

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
