Where's this Murry talking snippet from?!
EDIT: And WTF ?!!? All these homerecordings? I've never heard them before
Well, I've got them recorded now
And that's the most important thing!
Did I miss something or wasn't David mentioned as of yet?
David talked over Summertime Blues

So it seems that not only were there empty seats but they let people in who turned up without a ticket and then allowed them backstage. I have gone from very excited and happy about Friday to really quite annoyed and upset. What a shame for all those who applied and would have paid for their tickets. How is this right?

Then I probably hadn't tuned in at that point.

There are some taken from the mid-70s BBC Beach Boys story

Yeah, the usual bit lumping him in with Carl. I think they also just mentioned that he quit!

What's interesting is that in the Beach Boys Story (of which interview parts are used here) Carl mentions that David was in the band and then Al replaced Brian so that Al and David were in the band at the same time. I thought they would've used that and go on to talk about David in the band

I still have problems understanding the lyrics to "Shut down". "Surf's up" is simple against that

Does anyone know where the Brian interview snippets are from? Like the one about Pet Sounds just heard? They were not in the Beach Boys Story iirc

A cross-dressing father.
Seriously, though, the car title used to be printed on pink paper. Basically, 'I got the pink slip, daddy' was an early 60s way of saying 'I gots me a new Escalade, motherfucker'.

Just for you (and anyone else who doesn't know) : pink slips were the vehicle ownership certificates, printed in the USA on pink paper, the equivalent of the V5 form in the UK.
