Phil Cohen was banned from here?

Press release Monday ?

That packaging is fake ? or not ?

If it's fake it certainly, a nice job.

Nov release ?

nothing new for some time, and now all of a sudden, it looks
like its all breaking loose!

Andrew, I thought you lived in Britain or were British ? no ?

Maybe I misremembered something I read.

Because you speak American slang like an American, not
too many Brits can do that.

I was getting bored waiting, but it looks like they may be just
about ready, from all the rumblings..

Who would spend the time and effort to fake artwork like that ?
Just to get a rise out of people ?

I think it looks like a mock up the art department might do , to show
the record company or the Beach Boys,

I seriously doubt that's a mockup. Way too much detail.

And I'm English, but have been in the US often enough to adopt the idiom (and accent, if there long enough).

Why fake it. It's coming out at some point. That's the box. I can feel it. I'm very excited. Gonna try and do a bit of close up on that photo.

Its quite low resolution.

They well and truly are mind readers as on the surface it looks exactly like the Smile box set of my dreams.

The geezer that runs Spin CDs in the UK, said that their contact had been to a meeting about TSS in the last couple of weeks (that's why they were poised to make an announcement about the price in their shop) and that he said it was one of the best box sets he had seen.

Now to raise some money to get the damn thing.

That's the original 1966 booklet - Boston, on tour.

Did anyone notice the brown insert at the rear of the photo shows the words,
Vegetables
Cabinessence
Do you like worms
Then it says ...... only suns......
Could this be an unheard/unreleased track?

Well I don't know. I am a mildly anxious and paranoid guy, and I thought people were implying
Phil Cohen faked the artwork, to torture people.! LOL

I agree, it looks real, and if Andrew Doe says, he thinks it real
I'd say that's 99%

One thing I'm surprised you cats didin't mention.

When I bought the Beatles remasters a couple years ago
they had videos on the end of the albums... as a bonus

so in theory.. so far as five discs go... you could have a short
disc five with say  ..hypothetically... 25-35 minutes worth of music
and then a 40 minute video...stamped right on the music CD
same disc. You follow what I'm saying ?

I'm not saying that's what it is... But I learned they can put videos
right on the cd discs now..If they want to.

We'll see, in November.

They're based on period tape boxes/reels - one from Sunset, one from Gold Star, one from another I can't id from that pic.  And one Capitol release, one Brother Records.

Very cool! Thanks!

Andrew Doe just said we'll see in November,

I'd say that's game set and match.

I can't wait to see the discussion once we see the tracklist.

If they publish the tracklist in simple form ie: just song titles
I predict enormous arguing over which take, what mix
etc etc
