Got To Get You Outta My Life
I really do like this song, especially 1:49 onward. Love the guitar that comes in. My only problem with this song is that I sometimes find the trumpets/saxophones irritating. They are distractingly prominent in the mix. I don't think I noticed it as much until I started listening to the mono version, because in the stereo version they are panned to the right. The mono outro is longer and more painful. Which is too bad because it's cool hearing some Paul vocals unheard on the stereo version.

"She Said She Said" should be dumped veerry long long time ago. Extremely extraordinarily excruciatingly boring useless pointless dreck. There, I said it.

i'm only sleeping? really arhhhhh! Be careful, Rick! I love that song, too. Don't want pix to think your complaint is a vote. Then again, I'll say it too. How Could somebody vote that song off? Capitol did the same thing taking it off the Revolver album in America.

I'm Only Sleeping
I dislike it as well but since it's not going to go, maybe join us & vote "She Said She Said"? Can't believe you folks dump such positive bright jazzy song with cool backing track which Paul sings with energy. Can any of you tell what's so cool about "She Said" that you favor it better than this Paul song?

1. The drumming is some of Ringo's best. Ringo himself was particularly proud of his drumming on this song. It's possibly the prime example in all of rock music of drumming *just slightly* behind the beat, which adds to the sort-of "lazy" feel to the song. 2. Personally, in the bridge ("When I was a boy..."), the descending arpeggios of the guitar play against the vocal melody in a way that sends shivers up my spine. 3. The "call and response" of the vocal line and guitar in the verses just works brilliantly. Between #2 and #3 this is one of the best interactions between vocals and guitar in all of pop music IMO.

Here we go: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/She_Said_She_Said"She Said, She Said" is often noted for Ringo Starr's "circular" patterns and other contributions: Starr himself has expressed particular pride in his performances during this era. Some drum enthusiasts have referred to Starr's performance on this track as one of the best drum tracks ever recorded in pop music, comparing the approach to that of Mitch Mitchell, drummer for The Jimi Hendrix Experience, who was himself a follower of Elvin Jones. Ian MacDonald rates the drumming as "technically finer than [Starr's] other tour-de-force, 'Rain'".

Sorry feels. I can't usually get to this until it's nighttime in my neck of the woods. This is the album I consider to be the end of the Beatles v.1 (i.e. the moptops). Revolver is the seventh studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. It was released on 5 August 1966 in the United Kingdom and three days later in the United States. The album was the Beatles' final recording project before they retired from performing concerts and marked a progression on their 1965 release Rubber Soul in terms of the group's readiness to experiment in the recording studio. The album's diverse sounds include the incorporation of tape loops and backwards recordings on the psychedelic "Tomorrow Never Knows", a classical string octet on "Eleanor Rigby", and Indian-music backing on "Love You To". Reduced to eleven songs for the North American market, where three of its tracks instead appeared on the June 1966 release Yesterday and Today, Revolver was the last Beatles album to be subjected to Capitol Records' policy of altering the band's intended running order and content. More at wikipedia.com16 votes spread across 5 songs. I think that is the most votes we have ever had in a Beatles Surivivor round. Let's keep it up! 7 smilers decided this songs has Got To Get You Out of My Life. Per the usual, vote off your LEAST FAVORITE. Tally on April 24. Taxman Eleanor Rigby I'm Only Sleeping Here, There and Everywhere She Said She Said And Your Bird Can Sing For No One Tomorrow Never Knows Round#1 Love You To April 10 Round#2 Yellow Submarine April 12 Round#3 I Want To Tell You April 15 Round#4 Doctor Robert April 18 Round#5 Good Day Sunshine April 20 Round#6 Got To Get You Into My LifeOk. This is where it starts to get really painful. It's a toss between two great songs. "She Said, She Said" or "And Your Bird Can Sing".... I think Bird is just slightly better because the backing track is a little more interesting for me. All that scale work. " She Said, I know what it's like to be voted off of Survivor". Vote! The Beatles Survivor #1 Winner: TWIST AND SHOUT The Beatles Survivor #2 Winner: ALL MY LOVINGThe Beatles Survivor #3 Winner: IF I FELLThe Beatles Survivor #4 Winner: NO REPLYThe Beatles Survivor #5 Winner: HELP!The Beatles Survivor #6 Winner: IN MY LIFE
