Ah man.  There is no better place to be than standing in a crowd singing "Rhonda" with Al.  He sounds great.

I am sure Kokomo will close the set unless they ballsed up the performance.

Nice Rhonda.

Al blows them all out of the water. He has not lost a thing.

Absolutely. Time just hasn't affected his voice in the slightest. I've heard shows from the early seventies where he sounded worse

Just got in from the show ...  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

WOW! radio broadcast doesn't do it justice, FANTASTIC show albeit edited from the usual set to fit in with the 75 minute time slot (no "Sail On Sailor" or "All This Is That") - but surprise inclusion was David on "Getcha Back" !!
20 feet from the front of stage ...
All the band were there except Nicky Walusko
Two takes to get "God Only Knows" correct - Brian forgot to come in at the beginning !!
... and, get this, seats still empty at the back and side of the hall. So much for selling out ...

Oooh bad edit between Barbara Ann and Fun, Fun, Fun. Doesn't affect the music but they seemed to do a crossfade which ruined the crowd reaction and on-stage patter.
