Odd that some east coast order are being prepared and some aren't.
Maybe they're doing it by region...or picking numbers out of a hat

By the way, based on my experience with Amazon in the USA (have gotten a LOT of stuff from them last few months) here's a possible idea on when you may get your package (could still vary based on your driver's routes and stuff).
UPS: Mid-afternoon/Early evening
A-1: Mid-late morning
Lasership: Could be anytime lol. Have had one package from them in the morning, one in the afternoon.
FedEx: Early-mid afternoon

I am one of the amazon 110ers with amazon prime two day shipping. Mine shipped out yesterday.
I have prime too! Ridiculous.
Are you East Coast or West Coast? I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the snow storm yesterday.
Gulf Coast. New Orleans. Shipping from a center in KY.

My stuff normally ships from KY too. And it normally gets here two days (sometimes one) after being shipped. You're very lucky yours has shipped!!!

Let me get out my colonial uniform and musket.
Actually i think the UK would be a cool place to visit and hope to go there some time.
Just never go to Liverpool. I studied there for 4 years - not recommended
I want to visit London for a day, then maybe visit a coastal town and then travel up north in England or Scotland. Been hearing mixed reviews about Wales.
You have to go visit the Shropshire Hills.
Aye, London for the morning, Shropshire hills for lunch, Scotland in the afternoon then overnight in Colwyn Bay (Wales and a coastal town in a oner), then spend the rest of your stay in Yorkshire. God has a holiday home here he lets out when he's busy Sundays!

I would expect to see a shipping notice sometime after midnight tonight. You guys all need to stop freaking out, it's amazon, I've never had a problem with them shipping things out on time. It'll ship when it ships.

Domino - that'd be the stereo vocals-only "Good Vibrations," Brian's smog speech, and the "lettuce, turnip, and pea" chant.

Are those only on the 2 CD version? Are they hidden tracks?

Well, 12 hours exactly till I can walk into HMV and buy SMiLE.
I went into hMV in Bangor today and asked for TSS. The young lad behind the counter looked it up on his computer and said not out until tomorrow. "Got it in stock?" I asked. "yes," says he, "but I can't sell it to you cos we'll get fined for selling it early."
So he lost a sale and I drove the 150 miles home in silence. Cob Records, 200 yards down the road, probably would have sold me a copy if they opened Sundays - the HMV guy admitted as much.
Harrrumph.
Still, Amazon.uk tells me it's shipped. My impatience remains!

You drove 150 miles out of your way on the hopes someone would sell you this early? and then back emptyhanded... That's crazy

Of course, being the (perceived) paranoid and negative forum member, I'm a bit worried that Amazon hasn't gone to "shipping soon" on my order. Not only are the 5-CD, 2-CD & L.P. "Smile Sessions" sets at stake, but also the "Jethro Tull-Aqualung" CD/DVD/Bluray/L.P. box, and deluxe edition of The Rolling Stones "Ed Sullivan Shows" DVD. On the positive side(See, you guys think that I'm all darkness & paranoia), a friend in California secured one of the 300 slots to obtain Brian's autograph at the "Smile Sessions" autograph event, and he prepaid(by telephone) for a 5-CD plus two copies of the 2-CD, and he's going to send one of the autographed 2-CD sets to me. Of course, I'm reimbursing my friend for the 2-CD set, and (when & if my 5-CD + vinyl set arrives), I'm going to dub the vinyl-only tracks to CD-R for my friend(He's buying the vinyl as part of the big box, but doesn't have a turntable to play it.)
My friend has met Brian twice before(once at the dedication at the former site of the Wilson family home), and had a slight surplus of autographed items, including a signed 12 x 14 color photo obtained(for free) from an "autograph papparazzi" who was going out of business(moving out of L.A.), so he sent it to me....and I had it framed. The photo(autographed in 2008 at The Beveley Glen Deli ) shows Brian at the mixing console during the making of "Pet Sounds"

Is the stereo "You're Welcome" on the vinyl the first stereo mix of the song, legit or otherwise?

I like that the majority of the posts these days are from Smile Sessonless folk pining for the arrival of their boxes of joy. The general silence from the Smile Sessionful folk only makes me more excited for Tuesday to come.
