I listening to the last 10 minutes of the preceding programme and compared my Virgin Media cable with FM and FM won hands down. Vocals especially just became mush. I usually find iPlayer no better. They're compressing the stream too much, and there's a greater dynamic range on the FM. I don't even have a decent FM aeriel hooked up just a crap dipole on the wall....and a receiver from 1978 lol. |

Yeah, the quality on the stream is meh. I'm jealous that you can hear it better on the FM signal. The performances are still coming through pretty damn great, though. |
