Paulos, that's the million dollar question. We...just don't know. I will say though that they aren't that recent; I say maybe mid-90s to mid 2000s at the most recent.

That's the work of Karlheinz Regenburg - he set up the 'shrine'. He refers to "Denni" as his little sister. he's a fan from way back but, seriously, talking to him about this is like trying to debate evolutionary theory with a creationist.

OK, here's something that's not speculation: here's "Denni" with her "little sisters", as part of a Big Sister program she told me about.



However... someone else has noted the truck she's standing in front of has a Washington plate. They did some sleuthing, and it turns out that pic was taken at Harbor Towne Center in Oak Harbor, Washington, and not in California. So, whoever's identity was stolen, lives in Washington, not California. Thanks Jennifer Hughes Thompson for some outstanding sleuthing.

Oh, and before anyone says "well maybe she did do the Big Sister thing in WA"... the distance by road from Leemore CA to Oak harbor WA is 1044 miles, a driving time of 16 hours one way.

Ok, this just took a decidedly disturbing turn. Who are the kids in the picture? I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I can't help wondering who these children are, and how she is involved with them.

It could possibly be some guy whose posing as Dennis' illegitimate child just trying to get attention, he found someone on the internet that looks like him and went on being this fantasy person.
