It could possibly be some guy whose posing as Dennis' illegitimate child just trying to get attention, he found someone on the internet that looks like him and went on being this fantasy person.
That would make sense.

After reading yet another info on the subject, what people wrote further about her here, I'll have to go with Fishmonk & other non-believers of this story. Because isn't it strange that Denni would post her picture & then quickly remove it, for absolutely no reason? Why then show it, in the 1st place? Also, Mr. Doe made it abundantly clear that she didn't have an actual meeting with any of her Wilson relatives, only talked via Internet. Nobody had seen her in reality, only virtually. Which leads to the conclusion that everything she said was a giant lie, not mentioning she's a great lost actress. And this is the biggest disappointment for me, since I really thought Denni is good & kind, what she posted seemed to me sincere & friendly. Now - definite "no". I feel sorry for all who trusted her, helped with advices, supported her in some ways and so on only to find out they were shamelessly tricked.
Re: picture. To be honest, the girl doesn't look like an exact copy of Dennis, as some posters claimed it. Yes, there are some features here & there that remind of Dennis but not to the extreme. Everyone with noticeable chin, sort of aquiline nose & small-sized eyes can pose as Dennis's child - theoretically, it's possible. So, seeing the photo doesn't convince me too.

That's what makes me sad. I stayed pretty indifferent, but friends of mine really cared for "Denni" and it makes me sad to think of how many peoples time they wasted.

The situation could be so easily resolved if "Denni" posted a pic with that day's paper from wherever she's supposed to be... or just gave some easily checkable information, such as the senior nurse where she claims to have worked... or any of a dozen ways of proving at least some of what she claims is true. That she doesn't, and not only refuses but refuses with increasing anger, tells me one thing - she doesn't, because she can't... because pretty much everything she's said is a lie. A friend of mine who WAS a nurse ran some basic nursing terms past her some time back, and she didn't understand them. The Washington photo - which btw dates from 2010 at the earliest - is the first chink in the wall of lies.

Has any one tried running the Denni pics through tineye or a similar app that identifies a pictures origin?

I tried the photo of her with the kids and I get an astounding result of 0 photos.. out of 3.0864 billion images. Gets weirder all the time.

So the question is, who is the person posing as Denni?

Someone very sad I suppose. I just think this is the weirdest type of thing someone can do. Real illness is involved and I don't say that lightly.

If there really is a girl named Denni who is Dennis's kid, she won't be taken seriously now. Which sucks, because she may well be a well intentioned person with real questions about it, but her mother screwed it all up for her. Maybe I'm just being
way
to naive and forgiving. I guess I just try to always see the good in people.

I agree with the 1st sentence, it'll be indeed hard for real daughter of Dennis to gain credibility after the previous incident with a fake girl. As to your "forgiving & seeing the good in people" point, I understand you & actually can relate to that, because I also try to see only the good qualities in people & often forgive them their 'evil' deeds. But Denni is a special case. It's (now) obvious that what she has said is a lie - shameless & inexcusable. Of course, she didn't do real harm to people, didn't kill or stole sth. but nevertheless, she made everyone feel for her while she might very easily be in a good condition. It is the worst kind of lie/deceit. Off limits.

Still we don't know if there is a real daughter. The photos do look like Dennis but I have become convinced she's some random girl, or was Dennis' daughter and did die like was posted briefly on Facebook. That's actually why I have stayed interested, I wonder if this is identity theft of the deceased.

Interesting - been checking my old FB messages, and 'Denni' posted the Oak Harbor photo on FB on 9/15/11, so now we know it was taken before then, but no earlier than 2010 (when the Nail Shop opened there). Now, there's another photo of 'Denni' and those girls, but this time with a much older woman, and in the FB messages from 9/15/11, 'Denni' told me she did her Big Sister thing one day every two weeks and that the old lady died of cancer two years previously, i.e. in 2009.
So... we've got two photos, both of which show someone claiming to be a Big Sister every two weeks to kids who live 1000 miles away from her home in central California, and one of which, according to what 'Denni' said, shows a woman who had been dead for at least a year.
Any of this strike you as, well, just a little...
implausible

Yea, I agree. Beards and long, scraggly hair do not look good on women.

Golden rule of being a successful liar - remember what you said, and to who, and make sure they agree. The old woman in the 2nd Oak Harbor photo - correct, the one who, according to the info supplied by "Denni", had been dead at least a year when the photo known to have been taken - was described to me as just an old woman who needed a friend. Oddly - or not, if you've been following this sorry trail of perfidy - the same woman was described to Matt as "Denni's" grandmother. Anyone notice a mild credibility gap here ?

The Jon Stebbins FAQ book on page 20 in a section called Marriages & Children:
Dennis Wilson
sons Chris and Ryan, daughter Denni born out of wedlock
Congratulations, "Denni", the fact that you duped all of these BB experts has me laughing to the point of tears!
Also, my apologies to Jon as I love his books and will continue to buy and read them.
And Karlheinz Carl Regenberg really needs a makeover, wouldn't you agree?
EDIT: I just found this "public figure" page on FB:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Denni-Leann/175646209159376?fref=ts
Another EDIT: I am soooooo tempted to "like" on that FB page, but, nahhh!

Man, this story keeps getting weirder and weirder. I'd be interested in seeing those two pictures. I'm not sure if posting on the board would be a good idea though.
