Then we heard Brian say that he "signed off" on the 30 hours or whatever of material.

All I recall is Brian saying he'd listened to four or so hours - not 30 - of tapes and rejected a few things. He signed off on the project a long time ago. The next step will be for him to approve (or not) the mixes and the sequence.

Then the material has to be mixed and mastered, and how long might that take? A week? A month?

There's been no word on whether Frank Holmes has allowed his artwork to be used

Yes, there has - a reliable source has announced his artwork will be included in the package.

At what stage do Mike and Al have to sign off on all this? Have they given their input? Are we going to see this project held up over a few lines in the book?

All voting members of BRI signed off on the project some time ago: this is old news.

It would be really nice if we could get some new info. I don't mean a tracklist or pictures of the packaging or a release date, just a little comment to let us know that things are moving along as planned and whether we can still expect a summer release.

Yeah, I can see AGD and Phil Cohen in a hefty fistfight after a heated discussion about the SMiLE release. The lot of us are debating the moral hangups of digitally editing Bruce Johnston photos. 'Nobody' would be be flagging the bus down doing everything he could to piss off AGD.

From a spectator's point of view it would be a very entertaining trip!

Yes it' a very strange bug.

I mean it is a very strange bug.

Any time the letter after R is typed after an apostrophe, or typed by itself (not surrounded by other letters), it doesn't show up.
