I think it was around 2005 when Brian started doing the "walking down the path of life" song towards the end of his sets. He was really on top form then IMO. Saw him in Dublin and then Cork a day later. Great times! There was also a Q&A, I think on the night before the Dublin gig. Brian trying hopelessly to decipher what Irish accents were saying was quite funny

These aren't "Storytellers" shows, so I think it'll be mostly music. Plus, if he's truly using a lot of Brian's backing musicians, and especially if Darian is on board, they'd have a solid musical director keeping things on track. If he really has Darian and a bunch of the other Brian band, Al can pretty much call out whatever song he wants.
I hope so. We wiil see I guess. The storytelling is obviously much more suited to a 3 piece in small venues.

Am I the only one to think that this song is simply fantastic. And a special middle finger to the ........ers able only to bitch about autotune etc, even in such a circumstance (not here, bless this forum). And I know the (great) original version. This new one is my favourite. Not being perfect can be a plus, and here it is. So emotional, in the best sense.
I love it! Perfect song choice for Brian.

It may have been set to no longer access sites that use http instead of https (which costs extra for websites, and some of us site owners can't afford to pay extra). There may be a setting in the browser you can change to let you access "unsecured" http sites.
So that's the reason why the board doesn't use https? I never knew that upgrading would cost extra. Theoretically (Emdeeh, I know you aren't responsible for the board, but as a site owner), would it be possible to upgrade to https if many of us contributed a one-time donation or once-per-year donation? I'm asking just because everything I've read/heard is that https websites are safer/more protected than HTTP websites. Thanks!! Most hosts offer free SSL. There are options like Lets Encrypt that also offer free SSL but with a need to update every 3 months. Cloudflare has a free option as well. I'd imagaine there would be issues with how old the software this board uses when it comes to making all pages secure. The software is now 9 years out of date.
