Speaking of David Marks and mail, I thought the postcard they sent to people who bought the Back in the Garage CDs was very nice.

The stuff on that Mike Love merch cover page appears to be old stuff and stock photos (e.g. no apparent plan to reissue "Looking Back With Love" on vinyl).

The Mike Love logo shirt is something I have never seen before.

Yeah, seems like a weird idea to mock up a T-shirt with his new logo but never plan to sell it. I think this merch has a chance to materialize… that said, not sure about a reissue of LBWL. If any of Mike’s people are reading this right now, us fans would love anything we can get our hands on! Shirts or archival releases!

This was discussed briefly a couple weeks back on the Mike & Bruce tour thread. The label on the LP seems to read "Soundsortium"--never heard of it, but maybe a small record label?

I was on Mike Love’s website earlier and saw this interesting graphic advertising the MikeLove.com shop:



When you click on that banner, however, you don’t see any of the merchandise that was pictured on the previous page. It begs many questions: What is Looking Back With Love doing there? Is it going to be reissued and sold on MikeLove.com? Who is going to buy a Mike Love graphic T-shirt? Etc. Anyways, thought this was worth bringing up here for some reason. Mike Love’s website looks very nice; anyone know when it was updated?

Got my set today. The 1989 “Sloop” is amazing. We don’t get enough ’80s Brian in archival releases.

The new ESQ says Mike’s project is slated for a fall 2016 release and features members of the Beach Boys band, John Stamos and Mark McGrath.

Looks like we might be getting a Mike and Bruce cameo next season!

Looks like the live “Sloop” was pulled. Does anyone know which site debuted it? I saw a link to it on Facebook earlier but now can’t find it.

Last year after a M&B show I really wanted to find Mike and ask him to sign my Rock ’n’ Roll City cassette. Could only find Bruce and had to settle.

Also, “Sea Cruise” is on Ten Years of Harmony.

I googled Rocky out of the blue to see if there were any updates on his book getting released, and found out he was just inducted into his high school’s hall of fame. I got excited when I saw that the event was livestreamed, but it turns out Rocky was a no-show to the ceremony. I assumed it was most likely a signed copy of "A Postcard from California", as I don't think there are any other Al CDs in print.

Ah yes, that’s very likely. With the fundraising drive’s tie-in to the Christmas single I was confused whether they had a small number of CD singles. Your theory makes much more sense.
