wow.
That's Not Me is one of my favorite songs of all-time by anyone. whoever said it goes nowhere is not hearing what i hear. the multiple key changes are classic BW and some of his best. the sentiment is quite relatable, full of longing and personal revelation. And the vocal trade-off between Brian and Mike is pretty unique.
how anyone would pick it over a cover of a folk tune, regardless of the fabulous arrangement, is beyond me.
agree fully. I vote for I Know There's An Answer. I place Sloop and That's Not Me above that one. I love Hang On To Your Ego however.

You Still Believe In Me.
"Here Today" has a great set of lyrics - not sure what's not to like about them.
Right now you think that she's perfection, this time is really an exception, well you know...I hate to be a downer, but I'm the guy she left before you found her.
She made me feel so bad She made my heart feel sad She made my days go wrong and made my nights so long not so great. I like those, too. Haven't you ever been in that situation? Rhyme scheme is a bit simple....but that's exactly what it feels like. Exactly. I'd say those four lines are about as accurate a description of heartache/break as has ever been put to song. And heed how they match the music… building up, snatches of thought, no time to dwell… leading to the "gotta keep in mind LOVE IS HERE TODAY AND IT'S GONE TOMORROW…"crescendo… It's perfect. How you folks can vote off even one of these songs is beyond me! It's just not as good as the remaining songs. Even Sloop John B, which doesn't fit in, is a better song But once Here Today is gone, My vote will be the Sloop The instrumental break in Here Today is, to me, one of the highlights of the album - which, as it's one of the greatest albums ever made, makes it one hell of a f**king highlight!!

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.

"Sloop John B" is gone??!!? I can't believe that so many people chose one of the Beach Boys all time best songs as their "LEAST FAVORITE TRACK" on this album. Not "which one fits least" or whatever but the TRACK (recording or a song) they like LEAST of all the ones that remained. Rocks. In. Heads. Anyway, my vote goes (again) to "Don't Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder)". It's a FANTASTIC song but I actually do like it less than all the other remaining tracks on the list.
