Studio Albums

I'm trying to collect all the BB studio albums on vinyl, so far I've got most of them, the following I have found to be hard to get. I marked 2 of them with a *, I can't tell if they were ever released on vinyl, can anyone confirm if they were?
Carl & the Passions "So Tough"
Still Cruisin'
Summer in Paradise *
Stars and Stripes Vol. 1*

I can't answer you question about the two with *, but I see CATP:ST on vinyl at my local record stores all the time. If you can't find one, send me a PM sometime and I'll see if I can pick one up for you.

Summer in Paradise was released on vinyl somewhere in the world but it's incredibly hard to find and will be very expensive when you do find one.
Stars and Stripes was not released on vinyl.

I have both So Tough and Still Cruisin'. PM me if you're interested in a purchase. However, the postage from Sweden is probably worth more than the records themselves.

Yea, I would hate to see what that postage would be.

Wonder why they never released S&S on vinyl?

Carl/Passions isn't hard to find at all. Try Ebay if you don't have local record shops. Keep in mind though, that most copies are bundled with Pet Sounds - this raises the price and demand.

Vinyl was out of fashion in the mid 1990s, at the time a lot of albums were only released on CD.

Since I have that one (in single form, no Cooper Black, brown instead of green), I can confirm that: the souand is awesome.

I've seen them on ebay but as a bundle, hoping to get one by itself.

I'd just buy the bundle, unless you have some need to only have it as a single album. The bundle is the first American issue, so it's not like you wouldn't be getting the original.

You should be able to get the first two very easily -- my copy of Carl & The Passions only cost me three pounds, and Still Cruisin' only cost me ninety-nine pence.
Still Cruisin' sounds (even more) horrible in vinyl though -- it's from the late 80s, when they were pressing vinyl so thin it was practically transparent, and has essentially no bass end at all.

I guess my main reason for not wanting to bundle is that I all ready have 2 copies of Pet Sounds and if i bundled that would make 3.

There is if you buy a later pressing. My copy didn't come with Pet Sounds (although that may be because it's a European pressing).

Yeah, I have a Reprise label CATP 'standalone'. Cost me peanuts as well. Although it's not an original pressing, as of course that was the bundle.
Carrying on my run of stating the obvious, if you're listening to these things you should really pick up the bundle, as it's the best sounding Pet Sounds on vinyl! And you can find them for reasonable money, mine was only £10.

I've seen 2 on ebay, single albums, both German pressings. Since it seems in the US, that double lps is the only way, guess I'll go that route.

IMO

It's quite amazing to think that we're actually in the golden age of vinyl right now. Just about everything gets a (token, at least) vinyl release, and if you're willing to pay for it, most all of it is pressed in super heavy 180gram virgin vinyl.
Picked up a Lana Del Rey album the other day from my local vinyl shop just because it was there and was cheap. Sounds great, even though her deliberate "anti-production" won't sound exactly amazing in any format.

Yeah, my UK original sounds HORRIBLE. Mastered Muddily and quietly. I bought the US Two-Fer for the Fantastic Pet Sounds, but the improvement on CATP blew me away even more than the PS LP!
