True, true.  I just wanted to be acknowledged for my humor too, Bgas.  And..........the fact that I'm funnier than you are!  Grin

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

I'm afraid I'm going to have to chime in and say this piece also intrigues me. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'll paypal 100 rupees into your account, or - if you prefer - manually stimulate your genitalia in a pleasurable fashion.

Terry, I think I can help you here.    But it all depends on if.............. you're a man or a woman.

All women?

No, not all women.  But a lot of 'em!

That 2-part Tom Nolan article sure was a good one. One of the best of all time. It was very influential in turning me on to The Beach Boys in the early 70's.

me too...i was already a fan, they were my favorite group (and did i take a load of s.h.i.t from buddies for that at that time) and i was collecting their records. i had just turned 18 when that article came out and it was what started my sickness (  Smiley ) of getting my hands on any and every thing i could beach boys related. i have fond memories of 1971 and those rolling stone issues.

I've seen this article referenced in a couple of books on The Beach Boys I've read. I'm really curious to read this article. Anyone still have the link?

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings.

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

I am also searching for this one.  I read about it in Peter Ames Carlin's biography about Brian but it would seem that it's less accessible than I imagined!
