No need for a compilation - just burn them a copy of
Summer In Paradise
.
But.. OK, FWIW:
Summer Of Love
Passing Friend
When Girls Get Together
Hey, Little Tomboy
Love Is A Woman
TM Song
Hold On Dear Brother
Student Demonstration Time
Transcendental Meditation
How She Boogalooed It
That should do the trick.

This is only using BBs stuff up through KTSA because once Dennis was gone, pretty much all (or at the very large majority) of it is sufficiently disgusting to make anyone hate them.
Transcendental Meditation
TM Song
Student Demonstration Time
The Nearest Faraway Place
Endless Harmony
Belles of Paris
Winds of Change
Here Comes the Night (LA version)
Match Point of Our Love
The Beach Boys, now featuring EVEN MORE CHEESE!

No specific songs...just the entire M.I.U. album
and has been mentioned, everything since the early 80s. I just can't stand it no matter how hard I try.
Hmm....can I also include some solo work? Cause Mike Love's solo garbage is enough to turn someone off of the entire band...

I think you're too harsh on two or three tracks there, AGD, especially Hold on Dear Brother and How She Boogalooed It.
I guess they've got to be released, so no Battle Hymn of the Republic...
Hey Little Tomboy
TM Song
Matchpoint of our Love
Belles of Paris
Summer of Love
California Calling
Crack at Your Love
Here Comes the Night (LA version)
Remember (Walking in the Sand)
Island Fever
Solar System
Passing Friend
Everyone's in Love with You
Make it Big
Plus all of LBWL, most of GIOMH and most of Youngblood

Not Hold on dear brother?? One of my favourites, also like Tomboy, the rest I agree with, my choices are:
Blueberry hill
Talk to me
California saga
Here comes the night (la)
Goin south
Full sail
Some of your love
Endless harmony
All of SIP
Nothing from MIU, because I love it unconditionally.

Other than the Love You stuff, if there is one song I 'd love to hear Brian sing in concert, it would be "Matchpoint Of Our Love". Anyway, here's my worst:
1. Summer Of Love
2. Take A Load Off Your Feet
3. Louie Louie
4. The Baker Man
5. Leaving This Town
6. Meant For You
7. Crack At Your Love
8. A Casual Look
9. Hully Gully
10. Wild Honey (studio version)

Well, just to make sure we're even, I ought to point out that I love Meant for Your and, to a lesser extent, Wild Honey and Take A Load Off...

I'd like to throw in most remakes with the pits being Crocodile Rock. Worst remake with worst video. (see Youtube)

As a fellow hater of Barbara Ann, I want to say that in my opinion, it isn't the original recording the BBS did of it that is a problem...it's that it has become such a standard for them, a huge, identifiable, all-time hit. I mean, if I were them at the time, recording a batch of covers just for fun and quick sales, I might have done it too. I'm sure it was a blast. But to be known by it--exclusive of your other, better work--that must be sickening.
Well, not to Mike. But to anyone with a heart, mind or soul.

What's with all the hate for Trancendental Meditation? I think that's a cool tune. Same for Leaving this town and How she boogalooed it!! In their place how 'bout Tears in the Morning, Bluebirds over the Mountain, and Lady Lynda./

I like "Hold On Dear Brother". It seems to me (along with a couple of other songs on Carl and the Passions) to have the Band as a primary influence. And I think that the Flame-BB's take on that sound did help them develop the more mature sound that they were looking for at the time.

Even if I hate a Beach Boys song the first time listening to it, it becomes great after repeated listens. Though I have to say alot of the songs people are mentioning here were great on the first listen.
EXCEPT LOOKING BACK WITH LOVE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!

for me..School Days, Endless Harmony, In the Back of My Mind, Don't Back Down (my least fav. vocal by Brian from the "Classic Era" besides the following), that cuckoo clock song from the first album, Winds of Change, the carl version of Oh Darlin, I'm So Lonely, and Still Cruisin (mainly for the plastic, brittle production)

Hey Little Tomboy
Hot Fun in the Summertime
Everone's in Love with Love
Matchpoint of our Love
TM Song (but not Transcendental Meditation)
Our Team
Summer of Love
Passing Friend
Make It Big
Happy Endings
Island Fever
Solar System
Barbie/Living Doll (this is credited to the BB, even if it's actually only BW, isn't it?)
California Calling
There are many more bad songs, but you've got to excuse the early stuff and I didn't want to cop out by saying 70% of MIU or all of SIP or unreleased 'gems' like Deep Purple and Battle Hymn of the Republic, or solo stuff like LBWL (I actually prefer most of Country Love to this!). I've left off the Status Quo Fun Fun Fun because I prefer to think of it as Status Quo abetted by the BB - surely one of their worst barrell scraping moments. Who was responsible for that one? Carl? Love? Schilling?

In The Back of My Mind? Really?
That would be on my "best" list.

I seriously don't like the vocals on it, and personally feel the rhythm is off. I also hate the ending. To me, it's seriously overrated.
