Is it a joke?! That nurse looks like Brian's granny! Can't believe he had an affair with such an old lady!
Huh I believe she was in her late 30s / early 40s.

I think it's the combo of the hair and the clothes. The 70s styles made people look their worst. When I look at photos of my parents from those days, I can't believe how much older they look than they were. I mean, I think my grandmother had pants very much like the ones Carolyn is wearing in this photo.

And Carolyn's friends might have said: "I can't believe Carolyn is having an affair with a 325-pound man who never takes a shower, no matter how rich and famous he is."

Cool. That's the first pictue I've seen of Carolyn Williams, I think.

Don't think it's been mentioned here, but Carolyn Williams is at Twitter, as 1Mahalo. Her second tweet, a year ago, congratulated Brian for winning one of Mojo magazine's awards. She has not mentioned him since. Most of her tweets call for legalizing marijuana and reelecting Obama.  Wonder if it would be worthwhile for somebody to contact her and see if she'd care to be an Honored Guest.  The "mahalo" part makes me wonder if she just stayed in Hawaii after she went out there to try to get Brian out of the Dr's clutches.

I don't know why, but I feel a little creepy that I went to check what she wrote about the Mojo honor. Here it is:

@BrianWilsonLive Congrats, it could not have happen to a nicer guy. I know Carnie and Wendy are proud of you , Congrats

By the way-Brian was not 325 in 1980 (indeed I am not sure that he ever weighed that much). He was overweight for sure-but he looked ok at Knebworth.  However-he was in a bad place mentally (ever read the story of Nick Kent's 1980 visit to Brian's house).

I thought the Brian-Carolyn affair was 1981 or early '82, just before he went back to Landy.

Carolyn is also on Facebook. Among her likes is the BW FB group, though as far as I see she hasn't posted about Brian there. She also likes Family Feud, One Life To Live and All My Children....so I wonder if a little careful listening to those BW & DW tapes from the early '80s might find those shows in the background.

Yeah, fandom has its limits.

Good point. Daytime TV in the days when CW was at Brian's could be pretty disturbing...probably best that those tapes not be cleaned up too much.

And I was just looking at those photos up at eBay of Brian wearing his "Delicious" T-shirt and too-short shorts. That's about the limit for me.

Wow, great find on the Carolyn Williams photo...she doesn't look like the psycho that "Brian's" "autobiography" makes her out to be...then again, what does a psycho look like?

Also, I just re-read Heroes And Villains last month and I distinctly remember her being described as overweight. Wow...sure hate to think about what Steven Gaines considers anorexic...

For god's sake! can't there be one single thread where some new guy DOESN'T mention the fab-fuckin four! It's tedious at best.
And no, he doesn't. And no, Miss Williams doesn't look old.
