I can't believe what used to pass for a decent publicity shot back then. Could you imagine a photo like that being used now? Kind of like how they had the album cover of Summer Days and Summer Nights without Al. An album cover. Without all band members present. Anyway, it's nice to get the rare shot of the BBs with Brian in the early 70s.

A lot of bands shot informally around that time from what I can tell from studying the era Things weren't as slick but I like something a little loose really.
