a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Here you go; not the greatest quality, but I haven't seen all these previously( those more adept can probably enlarge/clear them up a bit...

And something for fun (Posted this before on one of the threads):

I like your Add Some Music cover. That's my favorite photo.

Why thanks Mike!  Smiley

This is from a 1990 British music tabloid; I'm pretty sure the article is littered with incorrect facts, but the picture is awesome.

It may be from early 1974, some pictures that seem to date from the Caribou sessions have him a lot heavier.

Brad Elterman: Years ago I was sent to Beach Boy Brian Wilson’s Bel Air mansion to shoot the cover of Phonograph Record Magazine. The color slide had been in boxes for decades and I just recently scanned it to share with the world! I still see Brian from time to time at my neighborhood deli!

I've been uploading a bunch of video and pictures at my new tumblr - http://keepinthesummeralive.tumblr.com/

I cropped the Caribou sessions photo of Brian out of their 1975 tour book and noticed it popped up here (above).  There's more to come!

Actually if you get the 1975 or 1976 tour program there are some shots of Brian in a dark shirt that look a lot more late 1974, he was about 25 pounds slimmer here.

Nope. It's from Mojo. It was part of the article.

By the way, I love that pic too. Brian oozes cool there.

In the second half of 1966 the Beach Boys evidently had four AC100s - two guitar amps, one bass, and a spare (seen in the centre picture). Left and centre left, the Beach Boys at Cow Palace, San Francisco, 24 July 1966. Centre right, in concert at Hammersmith Odeon, 14 November with an AC100 and two large box AC50s. On the far right, a shot from the Japanese tour in January 1966 - other pictures show the AC100 bass rig.
