My favorite picture of Brian. I wish I could find a hi-res copy of it. Anyone know where/when this picture was taken?

The Beach Boys legacy is still being mortared to this day...it has a solid and unbreakable foundation of incredible songs that tower above most bands, yet some bricks are more brittle and ugly than others (even some bricks put down more recently)...thus is the nature of any entity that continues to exist. You are not defined solely by your good achievements in life, you're also defined by those unpleasant moments too. This law of life, thankfully, helps keep us all in check.

Never seen this one before, love it! He looked really good in the Sunflower era.

I like the Beatles a bit more than the Boys of Beach, I think Brian's band is the tops---really amazing. And finally, I'm liberal. That's it.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

The above Craig 8-track ad was in a 1976 Rolling Stone. Probably more than one issue. May have even been in other magazines.

Now..........for a free Smile Sessions box, name each vehicle and its owner!

Boner points for the place this photo was taken.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

I don't know nothing about cars, but I believe Carl drove the one far left in the It's Ok-special, right ?
The picture might've been taken in Hawaii. The backcover of "Love you" and "M.I.U." seem to come from this session, although placed at a beach iirc

Carl drove the black truck in the rear of the picture.

In no particular order, you have:  Carls' vehicle,  Brians' vehicle,  MiKEs' vehicle, Als' vehicle and Dennis' vehicle, taken in a parking lot near the beach.

Good, Bgas!  Anybody here think Bgas's response was funny?

I can understand your frustration at not knowing whose cars they were, Bgas, but it's too bad you had to resort to responding with a child-like answer.

Why do people insist on quoting a whole set of pictures? We JUST saw them.
