The version on Rock of Ages is the December 31 performance of the song - not as good as the December 30 performance!
It's not on youtube, but here's a spotify link:
http://open.spotify.com/track/209sborqEqAG7CDYTr4cQv
It's my favorite version. And the greatest!

In the original version of The Weight, you can hear Richard's organ part VERY FAINTLY in the background during the bridge. Drives me nuts they took it out, though they apparently did release a version in 2005 that apparently 'restored' the original organ, but I have yet to hear it cuz I can't find it anywhere....

Got it yesterday, hadn't heard it before
Wow, fuckin' great, man - must have been a big influence on every early 70s Australian Pysch-Surf, Blues, Rock Stoner outfit offering out there

The La's Deluxe Edition. Always go back to it. The different mixes are great to hear. Love Lee Mavers.

What is your opinion of Baby I Love You?
I love it, but then again I love when Ramones do pop ballads (Needles & Pins, Questioningly, Danny Says etc). It obviously doesn't outdo the original (how can you outdo perfection?), but it showcases Joey's voice, has a nice arrangement, and fits the "do you remember..." theme of the album.

I like the Ramones version more than the original.

Apollo 13 and A Beautiful Mind are my favorite scores by Horner. Searching For Bobby Fischer and Deep Impact are great too. Any others you'd recommend Lowbacca?

Off the top of my head I'd definitely recommend
The Rocketeer
,
The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas
,
Aliens
, his scores for both 'Jack Ryan' films starring Harrison Ford and his
Star Trek
scores!

The 49 Minute Technicolour Dream LP (Various Artists)
Side One:
1. Black Mass- Jason Crest
2. The Wedding Of Ramona Blair- The Mirage
3. Baby Your Phrasing Is Bad- Caleb
4. Flight From Ashiya- Kaleidoscope
5. Matrimonial Fears- The Cymabaline
6. On The Beach- Finders Keepers
7. The Cooks Of Cake And Kindness- The Californians
Side Two:
1. Strange Things Are Happening- Rings & Things
2. Butterfly- The Fox
3. 3:30AM- Unit 4+2
4. A Dream For Julie- Kaleidoscope
5. Come Alive- Tempus Fugit
6. Golden Glass- The Misunderstood
I just picked this up on vinyl at Armageddon Records in Providence Rhode Island. Really groovy collection of underground psychedelic 60's groups, none of which I've ever heard of before except for Kaleidoscope. I'm in the process of enjoying it right now. I really dig the classy pop of THE CALIFORNIANS, but not too crazy about the pseudo satanic JASON CREST song. Most of this album is excellent psych! Interesting side-note about the band FINDERS KEEPERS, they featured future Deep Purple bassist Glenn Hughes.
