Fan testimonials are the work of the devil.

Or at least Telly Savalas as a devil.

We could use a frog spewing Elke Sommer around here as well.....

There's still no RC2 product listed on the UK or German amazon - will we get a PAL release on November 19th?

And now for the OFFICIAL tracklisting:

1.  Do It Again
 2.  Catch A Wave
 3.  Hawaii
 4.  Marcella
 5.  Isn't It Time
 6.  Little Deuce Coupe
 7.  409
 8.  Shut Down
 9.  I Get Around
 10.  Heroes And Villians
 11.  Sloop John B
 12.  Wouldn't It Be Nice
 13.  All This Is That
 14.  That's Why God Made The Radio
 15.  Sail On Sailor
 16.  Good Vibrations
 17.  California Girls
 18.  Help Me Rhonda
 19.  Rock And Roll Music
 20.  Kokomo
 21.  Fun Fun Fun

http://www.walmart.com/ip/22001294?adid=

Sorry, guys, to me this is a very disappointing tracklist. No Dance Dance Dance, one of my all time favorites, instead we get some of my all time bores like Marcella, Rock And Roll Music, and All This Is That. Not to speak of Kokomo. Sail On Sailor isn't one of my favorites either, but I liked it much better live than the studio version. I'd have preferred Add Some Music, Please Let Me Wonder, and Be True To Your School (Wheeeeeeeeen...)

No way ! Did you not see it on the Jools Holland show, most excellent .
Even 'youngsters" at my work who tuned in for Muse and The XX were saying how much they enjoyed it.

I like Barbara Ann, that wouldn't bother me, though it's not an omission as badly missed as the other four I mentioned.

No Dance Dance Dance - me no buy!

The European 2-Disc version seems to be priced at about €22 / €23. Sure hope the concert DVD (and its 21 tracks) is worth it...

I guess this will be played with the credits rolling, similar to "Good Timin'" on the Knebworth DVD.

Looks like it is indeed with MTV like editing and lots of audience shots.

Now I'm REALLY pessimistic... “every five seconds” editing... uggh! As others have said, we get it that the crowd loved the Beach Boys. In fact, that's why we paid the big bucks... to see the Beach Boys; I don't want audience shots every fifteen seconds & don't think it's "cool" to watch a young couple singing along to "their" song.

It wasn't professionally filmed; there was only one camera; it only covers the first half of the show; the sound was typical for YouTube, but I like sayhey's compilation video from RAH.

I hope they eventually release the RAH concert some day but I pretty much doubt it. BTW I got my Blu Ray today, they only had 2 in stock but didn't put them on the shelves. 30 €  and it looks like that there is no "Doin' It Again" footage.

I watched a large portion of said concert and I am actually surprised by how good it is.

First I was shocked by the menu which is underlaid by some surf instrumental and just a pic of the boys and you can't even choose the option "chapters". There is no interactive menu btw. The picture quality is dissapointing, it varies heavily, though there are times where you get HD feeling especially when the cam guy concentrates on Mike. Still not too spectacular, so stick better to the DVD as, mentioned above, there are no bonus features.
Audiences shots are not that annoying to my pleasure but there certainly is fast editing. Don't worry though, it's not that awful like on recent filmed Stones concert videos. The TrueHD sound mix is stunning, especially if you own a surround system. Subwoofer roars nicely and just the boys' voices come out of the central speaker (most often without Jeff). I actually turned down my other speakers and just listened to the voices, excellent!

I don't think much was doctored, Brian sounds good but still natural. Al sounds strained on WIBN and Mike fluffs here and there. Overall I'd give it 4 stars.

Thanks for the review. Despite the DVD's limitations I'm still looking forward to it mainly because I'm putting this under the "better than nothing" category.

just switched my amazon order to dvd from blu-ray, since this does not seem the dramatic occasion to spend 100 bucks for a blu-ray player. agreed?
