BEACH BOYS SELLING OUT AND ADDING SHOWS
A Beach Boys 50th Anniversary concert at the Hollywood Bowl and two concerts in Chicago and New York City have already sold out. So it's no surprise that the group is adding shows. They will be playing on Tuesday, June 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Riverbend Music Center in Ohio.
The band, who performed together at the 2012 GRAMMY Awards, will also release a new studio album and commemorative 50th Anniversary catalog with Capitol/EMI.

The group, featuring co-founders Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, and David Marks -- along with 47-year veteran Bruce Johnston -- is currently recording their first original album since 1992's Summer In Paradise.
The new set marks the first original collection to include Brian Wilson since 1985's self-titled release -- and the first to be fully produced by him since 1977's Love You.
The Beach Boys will be the subject of an episode of the upcoming PBS music series Front Row Center. On June 7th, the band's 50th anniversary celebration will be featured in a new 90-minute special, called The Beach Boys: Summer's Gone "with a look back at their career featuring never-before-seen archival concert footage, plus songs from their new album." Among the other artists being featured this season on Front Row Center are Phil Collins; Cheap Trick; the Secret Sisters featuring T-Bone Burnett, Elvis Costello, and Jakob Dylan; Colbie Caillat; Moby; Train; and Richard Marx.
