I would say as a group they all looked cool from 1970-73.

Any time Mike put on the gold vest is when they looked the hippest. It upped the hip factor tenfold for everybody in the band.

videos like that reinforce my thought that neither carl, al, mike or bruce really had any style.  They would just fall in with the times.

A serious answer would be - The In Concert photos. Dudes look ace. There are guys in Shoreditch who dress like that nowadays, so I guess it's still some kind of hip?

What is this "life" thing you speak of ?

Mike had the coolest looks to me. Especially with his long beard and the white robe in 69.

Brian's best look was with the long hair and no beard in 72-73 Holland era.

Dennis, looks good no matter what, but I like his short bushy hair around 68.

Carl looks best with his beard and long hair, around 72-76.

Al has a cool look with the beard and pilgrim's hat in the early 70s.

Bruce, with his long hair and mollester's mustache.

Overall, the Holland era BBs were the hippest.

"Over the years, I've been accused of not supporting our new music from this era (67-73) and just wanting to play our hits. That's complete b.s......I was also, as the front man, the one promoting these songs onstage and have the scars to show for it."

Nobody has mentioned Blondie or Ricky so I'll just add Blondie is one of the weirdest looking dudes I've ever seen and Ricky at the time probably gave Dennis some serious competition with the ladyeez.

I'd rather be forced to sleep with Caitlyn Jenner then ever have to listen to NPP again.
