SMiLE Sessions box set!

I looked on Amazon and could not find anything about pre-ordering the SMiLE Box Set---Where do you pre order???I've waited 40 some years for this BUT I don't think,as great as it is,SMiLE will probably not break any sales records,today's kids just don't care for BW's music that much,and they cannot understand how,in 1967,SMiLE was lightyears ahead of it's time,and most of them could care less about Sgt. Pepper and SMiLE.For those of us who were teenagers in those days, it is apparent we grew up in a golden age of music.I hope the SMiLE set sells out,becomes the rage,but it won't because we are a minority in the music listening world ,though we are devoted to BW's and VDP's 1967 musical experiment,the kids are not and the kids are who the record companies prey on for the major bucks.So give thanks to Capitol Records,Brian,Carl,Dennis,Mikeand Al for releasing SMiLE.SMiLE is relevent today,and will be relevent 100 years from now,which is why we can't wait for the box set to be finally available.

What are you talking about man? I'm 20 and I know a few other people in my age who'll buy this box set. It's all we've been waiting for.

Oh and, that pic is a beauty. I've been drooling all over it for the past 4 hours.

Let's face it.  Only the hardest of the hardcore fans would have heard about this and ordered in the first 6 hours.  Maybe the powers that be knew that and rewarded the faithful with a temporary discount.  Or maybe not.

I really regret not ordering it 2 hours ago. If i understand this correctly, if i buy now at $146 and the price is lowered as of the day of the release, i will pay that lowered price? I should pre-order asap before this thing goes up even higher in cost.

I'm pretty sure if you order it now it will stay at that price regardless of any future change in price.

If you order now you pay the lowest price between the time you click "submit" and release date.

It locks in at whatever the _lowest_ price is after you place your order. Basically, you're insured against any increases. Frankly, I suspect it might go back down at some point.

Holy crap! Been out all day and then I see this! Awesome awesome news. Too bad I missed on the cheaper price. Hopefully it goes down.

Ugh, I waited too long to pre-order as well, but you're correct, there's a pre-order guarantee - if the price goes down, we'll pay that lower price.  Just glad i got my pre-order in now though.  I got all three: the box, the vinyl and the 2 CDs, and I'm excited as hell!  I'm not "bored with this smile thing" anymore!  
I've been waiting nearly all my life for such a release, I could just sh*t myself, but I won't - I'll save that for when I actually hear it!

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but I'm looking at a copy on Amazon, and it says that stereo mixes will be included. Wouldn't it be cool to get both a mono and stereo mix?  That's what I'm planning to do with my mix...

I don't know whether to trust Amazon's delivery date for us over here in Western Australia. My stuff always takes aaaages to arrive... though if I buy from Amazon I will choose whatever the highest priority shipping is. I find it really hard to deal with waiting for an item to arrive when it might already be sitting in the music shop down the road.

Besides that... HOLY CRAP BALLS! This is gonna be AMAZING!
I can't wait to get this thing and listen to it about 3 or 4 million times... and then... make my own SMiLE mix!
