...The day I have been waiting for since February. My SMiLE! boycott will not be in vain...hopefully listening to this will be like hearing the opening chord to Our Prayer for the 1st time...the next best thing to being a SMiLE! born-again virgin...

I knew something was up when there were about 485 people reading and posting on this thread.

November 1st...I've got a feeling I will be *sick* that day and need to call out of work....just a feeling. God Bless that day, this news, and everything else in the world. I feel like Scrooge after waking up on Christmas day following his dreams of the night before.

Too bad Greg Larson or the Coach wasn't around for this. I bet they are grooving with Dennis and Carl anyway...(maybe they had pulled some strings up in heaven to make this happen)

I think you have to pay extra to have it arrive on the day (I could be wrong)

Very legit concern but Amazon are the best for refunds, replacements etc so if anything does go wrong, they will deal with it swiftly

I pre-ordered to get in on the price in case there's a misprint or something, but I plan on cancelling that when more info comes out because I want to pick up mine in person at the Amoeba in Hollywood. Something about Capitol being right there makes it feel like a historic place to pick it up.

I almost want to lift the ban on him just to see how he'll react, but I fear the impending backlash from all of you folks will probably drive him right back off! 

Please don't.  Here, I'll save you the trouble:

1.) Phil reiterates 20 times that he was only trying to keep public pressure on Capitol to ensure the box was released.

2.) Phil complains over 50 posts that Capitol is playing games with the fans by trying to manufacture a product shortage.

3.) Phil makes 100 posts about how Amazon is playing games by processing his order too slowly.

4.) 200 posts of Phil cursing the games being played by the post office during shipping.

5.) Infinite posts by Phil about poor quality control after his box arrives with a half-centimeter ding on the left edge and the games being played by Capitol, Amazon's returns department, the post office, his mailman, and the teenager working as a cashier in his local supermarket.

It totally feels like 2004 in here all over again...except this time there aren't sampled harpsichords and tack pianos! And the boys aren't absent. And Frank Holmes is over there in the corner making some drawings. Just tried to order it from Amazon in the US, but the estimated delivery date was in December.

I'm going to wait and see if it's on Amazon UK tomorrow, and hope it doesn't sell out.
