Yeah, that's were I got them as well. From the Pink Man. I guess all of the stuff he puts up is lossy, but it's a nice gesture. To make the stuff available, that is.
I've come across his "remasters" on other sites as well, so he really should stop doing whatever he does.
Exactly what tracks are you looking for? Maybe I have them on other boots...

I suppose there is just one set of FLAC's doing the rounds because I've come across them too. Looks like it's sourced from mp3, or maybe ATRAC compression from MD.
Anyway, they are available in lossless because I've checked a few of my old CDR's and they were pukka.
You should... um... upload that, son. I'll see what I can do. Unfortunately I could only find a couple of them... I was actually thinking of putting together a similar set from scratch using better, upgraded sources. I reckon this will take forever, though.

In the MIC mix of YLTLF that I have heard, the whole bottom end(bass frequency) drops out during the bridge and never returns. The version I have heard is only an mp3 though. I was just curios if it's my copy, or if it happens on the actual MIC set.
There's plenty of bottom end on my copy (toms + synth bass), although the deeper synth parts do come and go during the song. Maybe that's what you're hearing?

Thanks for the link. Some interesting stuff there, particularly this little bit: In addition, Mark Linett still hopes to complete a stereo version of 1967′s Wild Honey, although technological challenges stand in the way such as missing multitracks for “Mama Says,” in particular, that have yet to be located. Is that the only *important* tape missing? Why not do one of those "extraction" stereo mixes or just keep that track in mono? I don't think anyone is expecting Mama Says to be some kind of epic stereophonic wonder anyway... This one might be missing, but weren't some other songs taped, erased, and taped over? If so, there would be nothing to find. Those songs would have to be stereo extractions, at best. Someone posted this over at another forum: They are missing multitracks for Aren't You Glad, I'd Love Just Once to See You, How She Booglaooed It, Mama Says and I Was Made to Love Her, although someone who has heard the tapes said a respectable stereo mix of Glad could be made missing some elements in the final mix.
