Damn some of my Boots have some misleading info on them. At least I'm streetwise enough to realise that California's version of "Jamacia Farewell" was not a Holland outtake as claimed on one of them!!

You have boots?  Shocked What is the world coming to?

I prefer shoes to boots, to be honest. And we're all being honest here. Aren't we?  angel

May I ask what is on the All This is That boot?

The Beach Boys - All This Is That
Sea Of Tunes C 0761
All Tracks Stereo except *

1. Time To Get Alone (Stereo Instrumental Track) 3:07
2. Country Air (Stereo Mix) 2:22
3. Won’t You Tell Me (Stereo) 3:00
4. Tears In The Morning (Stereo Instrumental Track) 4:02
5. Slip On Through (Stereo Take) 12 2:32
6. When Girls Get Together (Stereo Instrumental Track) 2:29
7. Cottonfields (Stereo Vocal Version) 2:34
8. All This Is That (Stereo Alternate Version) 3:52
9. It’s A New Day (Stereo) 2:24
10. Hard Time (Stereo) 3:27
11. Blueberry Hill (Stereo Alternate Version) 3:10
12. Had To Phone Ya (Stereo Instrumental Track) 2:00
13. Palisades Park (Stereo Alternate Mix) 2:23
14. Short Skirts (Stereo Right Speed Version) 2:41
15. Shake Rattle & Roll Stereo (Right Speed Version) 2:41
16. Just Once In My Life (Stereo Instrumental Track) 3:46
17. Running Bear (Stereo) 2:55
18. Let Us Go On This Way (Stereo Backing Vocals) 1:43
19. Sherry She Needs Me (Stereo Complete Version) 3:01
20. The Night Was So Young (Stereo Vocal Version) 2:11
21. Shortenin’ Bread (Mono Alternate Mix) 2:48 *
22. Life Is For The Living (Stereo Instrumental Track) 1:48
23. It's Like Heaven (Mono Alternate Version) 2:15 *
24. Our Love (Stereo) 2:13
25. Da Doo Ron Ron (Stereo) 2:04
27. Where We Are (Stereo) 2:15

Track 8 isn't an alternate version, it's from the jaw-droppingly amazing 1993 Red Barn rehearsals.

Track 24 is a fragment of "Love, Remember Me" from the Bambu sessions.

Or so I've been told, as I don't actually have anything like this in my possession, you understand. That would be a bad thing.

The version of Love Remember (although not great sound quality) sounds a little different with the drum effects, it sounds very 80s influenced (although it predates that decade/genre)

my favs from this boot are:
Time to get Alone track
Won't You Tell Me (really good vocals)
Had to Phone Ya track
the Love You rarities included

BTW, what is Where We Are?

I think it's an outtake from Carl's first album.

Nope, recorded about 1985. Ish.

You're both wrong. Recorded 2/11/78 at Brother Studio. My source is Andrew Doe's site. Smiley

Is there some kind of homoerotic implication in this penetrating remark? We have Christians on here. Let's keep it civil.  LOL

Andrew, I thought that was from the sound check for the Paramount Show in 1993. There are several other songs that were soundchecked that day (again, so i have been told.......)

It's always been described to me, right from the beginning, as being Red Barn rehearsals, which would of course explain 1) the pristine audio quality, and 2) the absence of Mike. Just to be sure, I double-checked with someone who would know.  Roll Eyes

Wonder if any other of those Red Barn sessions have leaked into, er, the public realm. Not that it would make any difference to anyone here whatsoever, this being a strict church-going forum.
