The Singer Not the Song (my all-time favorite RS song) vs. Memphis Tennessee (the Animals cover)

I quite like both songs, but I'm going to have to side with The Singer Not The Song. Memphis Tennessee is good, but doesn't stand out from the album it comes from. In fact the majority of the songs from their debut album sounds very similar to Memphis Tennessee that you have to be familiar with it enough to differentiate between them.

I'm familiar with those 2. I don't like either, but I'll go with "In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida". I don't dislike blues, but the other song has unbearably insipid melody. Yaaaawwn.
