not much gets said about Dave Marks and his solo output post BB's....

I am actually looking for a copy of 'the moon' double album on cd on cherry red records, which brought this to my attention...

it seems quite hard to come by, as is his 'dave marks and the marksmen' stuff.....

there is some download stuff there, but find it hard finding physical copies of the music...

even checking out david marks' website, I see there are no longer any cd's available of his solo stuff......

what do ya folks think about Dave's music and it's availability?

does he have a 'great' solo album that should be heard?.......

Cheers, RickB

Yeah, for the most part it's virtually forgotten.
I found the info here to be quite interesting:

I would recommend "I Think About You Often" as the David Marks solo CD that is a must have. The Dave and the Marksmen single I Wanna Cry bw/I Could Make You Mine is top tier, and both The Moon LP's are amazing. Start with those and you won't go wrong.

And the Colours album! "Angie" is such a great song.
