Maybe it's because I yearn for the ever elusive stereo mix, or maybe it's because the others would sit, if not all in my top 5, definitely top 10 as far as Beach Boys tracks go. Regardless, while GV remains an obviously brilliant piece of work and one of the few progressive songs of theirs the general public actually knows, I think the others here enthrall me just a little bit more.

it used to really bug me that they "cheated" and left out the staccato part when they performed it live
a great, brief bit of dynamics in an otherwise gorgeous ballad. love the session outtakes too
