Just recently rediscovered this song, after seeing the flyer for the BB's Jones Beach show posted in the main forum. Always loved it as a kid. I can see why BW was inspired by it. Thanks to Joel Koster for his awesome Gold Star Chamber reverb impulse.

Thanks, man! The original's great, definitely check it out. John Sebastian's voice was so good. And supposedly the song inspired "God Only Knows".

I think that's true, Brian used to list Sebsatian as one of his favorite singers/songwriter along with McCartney and a couple others  Smiley
