I'd like to explain that I had just gotten up and I had just logged on to find out about this.

I'm just as surprised as you guys are! I'd like to be perfectly honest and say I have no clue as to what is happening.
I'm noticing that people are saying we're fucking around with people's email addresses. I have no idea how that's happening.
Hell, I don't know sh*t about hacking and all this.

Please believe me, I'm not a troll, and I don't know how this is happening, and for whatever cause of this, I'd like to say i'm very sorry that this is happening to some people. And we would like some help in finding out what to do!

i promise you guys I'm just as angry as you are! i just got home from school and saw all of these people saying  this and freaked out.   i tried telling Rei about the two i saw last night (which i thought was trolling because one includes the guy that's been against this since the beginning) but Rei hasn't responded to me yet.  i don't know what's going on but who's ever doing it needs to stop even if it's him!

Those whose emails were stolen should contact the site ipetitions.com. They'll have the IP address stored for whomever signed the petition under that email address, and that person obviously would have signed the petition under that IP address under their real email address first.

Then it will be very obvious who stole the email addresses.

I just found out that the only way to delete the petition is to send an email to iPetition asking to delete it. I've already sent the email and I'm waiting for it to be deleted.

I think what bgas is saying is that if you delete it they may not be able to retrieve an IP address to discern who was responsible for the false identities.
