Yup some people still act like Denny purposely told Manson to commit those murders  which isn't the case.  When will they get that through their thick skulls?  .  If you went on YouTube right now and read all those hate comments towards him.....it's just sad, people always wanna have something negative to talk about.  THERE'S MORE TO DENNIS WILSON THAN JUST CHARLIE MANSON

20/20 is the fifteenth studio album by American rock group the Beach Boys, released on February 10, 1969 and their last studio album released with Capitol Records that contained new material for the next seventeen years. Produced by the Beach Boys, the album includes songs that span across variety of different genres including hard rock, country and psychedelic pop. The lead single "Do It Again" was the band's first attempt at revisiting the surf sound they abandoned eight albums prior and it charted at number one on the UK and Australian charts.

20/20 got its name from being the Beach Boys' twentieth album release when compilations were included in the tally. A collage inside the gatefold depicts Brian Wilson behind an eye examination chart as a play on the title. It reached number three in the UK and number 68 in the US.

A very overrated single which I have literally never liked.
Give me Bluebirds, Nearest Faraway Place, Cottonfields, and especially the underrated classic All I Want To Do over Do It Again!

Another good thing about All I Want To Do is that I show it to my friends, the majority of which don't care for the BB's, and they really like that song.
It's a great song to get people into the BB's, plus it's their heaviest, it's got Mike Love's all-time best vocal and IMO it's their coolest song  
If it was up to me, it would make it into the finals.

Instead of defending every single Dennis Wilson song, can you two just let us have our opinion. I get it, you like Dennis. I also like Dennis, but a lot of us here don't think that every single one of his songs are absolutely incredible. Deal with it.

I know everyone has their own taste in music but people comparing him with Brian when he had so much more experience than him isn't fair.  He proved himself to be more than just the trouble making heartthrob and he wasn't taken seriously.  if you guys don't like his stuff, fine but the most opinions I've heard have something to do with how much better Brian is than him.  They were BROTHERS. Denny looked up to him and learned a lot from him and was in his shadow. he actually stepped up musically the most when Brian couldn't do it anymore.

You're opinion on us is inaccurate. Well, me at least.
As I told Bubbly on the Friends contest:

'Be Still' is better than TM, I feel. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that loves that song....oh well!

Same! I feel that Be Still is easily one of the best songs of Friends

Believe it or not, I don't like every Dennis song.
Surfers Rule and Girls on the Beach are so bad it's almost unlistenable IMO. Denny's Drums sucks too.
Mona Kana I find overrated, same with My Love Lives On, Barnyard Blues, and 4th Of July.
Steamboat is a pretty boring song, same with Barbara. Got mixed feelings for Make It Good.
A lot of the Bambu material can be quite depressing, even more so than POB.

But I genuinely feel that Be Still is one of the best songs from Friends. I find the album to be slightly overrated, it's certainly not one of my favourites. The songs I truly like from that are the title track, Wake The World, Diamond Head, Little Bird, and Be Still.

Besides, It's About Time (pun intended) that a Dennis song should win one of the Survivor contests!

Getting upset that a song/songwriter that you like isn't as well received as you'd like them to be is completely natural, but please, let's not make a big fuss over it anymore.

I was mainly upset when someone complained about people "exalting Dennis", that's what set me off.  And I can respect your opinions but what that guy said was not cool at all
