If you were invited to xmas dinner with one of the Beach Boys which one would it be.?  And what would you bring to the dinner.. ? You can pick from all 9 BB living or deceased.. You can choose all of them at separate dinners or any combination of  them.. The only thing that wouldn't work would be all of them at the same house at the same time.. And please be aware of children present at this dinner.. Merry Christmas to ALL of you that come here and support this board and The Beach Boys.. !!!

Does Murry count as a Beach Boy?

I think a holiday meal with Carl + Dennis + Audree + wives + kids would be cool.. I suspect they would open up + enjoy themselves + be who they are comfortably .! Id bring a few bottles of wine for after dinner + maybe jam together .. Get some t-shirts made up for the 3 with something special written on the front just for them or hats.. Bring some xmas stockings stuffed with candy nuts + fruit for the kids.. Have a fine meal + catch a buzz + jam + sing songs together + talk about old memories . I think any of the BB with their guard down would be special to talk to but I chose the 3..  This is what I was thinking when I started this thread.. Oh Well.. Merry Xmas

Now, that would be something! Imagine Murry beating the crap out of Manson for cursing and then pulling out his glass eye...

BTW did the two ever meet? Dennis once took Audree to his home where she met Manson but I never heard anything about Murry.

Honestly I'd want to have Christmas dinner with the 6 Beach Boys, their wives and various relatives on December 25, 1966. Man would that be a blast. I'd beg Brian to play some Smile acetates and Marilyn would say, "not during Christmas dinner, dear", so later we'd go into Brian's Arabian tent and he'd take them out and that would be the best Christmas ever.

Dinner with the Wilson Family circa 1960.  I would bring my own two brothers and we would all seriously chow down on Audrey's home cooking, sneak a few cigs and a drink,  and talk music and pop culture.

It just occurred to me that Christmas 1960 is the last Christmas before the BB were an actual entity.

Brian and the Boys haven't had a Christmas dinner without being Beach Boys since the Eisenhower administration.

Back to the original question, I would love to have a depressing afternoon with Bruce where we argue about everything. I would of course bring some cold pureed hamburger meat-shakes and maybe some raw oysters in chocolate jello pudding. This could of course ignite some further quiet arguing amongst ourselves.

I would invite the Wilson brothers  Brian, Dennis, & Carl and Al Jardine but I know that I would probably have trouble eating around Denny Love I'd probably pick at it.  there's this guy in my grade that to me resembles him in the face (which makes me like both of them even more) and one day when my class had a party, he sat at the table where I was and I picked at my food, and as soon as he got up to get seconds I started stuffing my face until he came back  LOL.  the sad thing is I can't have either one  Cry.

I'd love to have dinner with Carl. I'd bring a pumpkin pie with some vanilla bean ice cream and/or anything Carl would prefer to have.

Rob, I don't think you have to do a lot to be an honored guest here.  To me, anybody that can play songs from Love You to the note like you can should be elected as an honored guest here.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Of course not. It's like saying either George Martin or Brian Epstein is a 5th Beatle, which I've always found ridiculous to state.

Great thread, Mr. Wilson! Some of the answers were very entertaining. I'd like to celebrate Christmas with Brian, Al, Carl, Ricky & Blondie in the early 70s in L.A. (or any other city of the coolest state ever California). I intentionally didn't include Mike, Dennis & Bruce because I don't find them much interesting in talks. With Brian I would be conversing about the films or newish publishings, with Al about folk or country music, Carl - guitar models, Ricky & Blondie I would've asked, "What it's like to live in South Africa?", their relatives & Blondie exclusively about the origin of his last name, as "I thought 'Chaplin' is a British surname". Though his name is also extravagant. As for wives & kids & stuff, I would like to talk with the Rovell sisters + Ginger Blake; she seems total fun to hang & chat with. I would also like to meet Neal Jardine & ask him what Al usually does in the leisure time. In sum, I'd make that Christmas day be as much memorable as it only is possible.

Don't know how I missed this one.

I would want to attend a Wilson/Love Christmas dinner in 1961 and sit at the kid's table and hang out in Murry's music room after.
