It happened again? Well, to the original poster who put it up, sorry 'bout that. I guess I don't have time to search and scan every thread before adding an article or interview.

One might say Brian and co. whipping out fucking Pet Sounds unexpectedly is kind of worthy of its own thread. I had no idea until this thread was posted. Thanks!

I agree...this is a rather big deal, in that the setlists seem to change almost by the show. Brian has never done this.

They're merely warming up for the surprise Love You shows. I've heard that the band rehearsed Shortnin' Bread years ago, so anything's possible ...

After the Rolling Stone story today about the surprise at the Beacon theater last night, peeps are gonna take notice. What a fantastic story they did on the BAD tour and how ML must be shaken. I'm sorry, I can't post the link right now. I'm sure you'll easily find it.

he has probably written enough songs with the shortenin bread riff to make that possible

This blows my mind. Well worth it's own thread and guitarfool's a man of impeccable judgement in these things.
Gawd I hope this show comes to Grand Britannia.
My four-year-old would love it. And I suspect I'd just go to heaven.
