Since I live in New Jersey and am surrounding by high quality root beer at Stewart's Drive In I kinda like "Chug-a-lug."

It's weird, I completely forgot about this album.  For some reason, I always think of Surfin' USA as the first Beach Boys album.  I mean I've heard this album and I know it's their first album and yet it's such a mediocre effort.  Besides its title track and the historical fact that it was the first Beach Boys album, it just has so little going for it.

Head You Win - Tails I Lose

Arrrghhh to "The Shift"'s departue.  I think it's the album's closest indicator to what was coming next musically (great Dave and Carl interplay), and the vocals step it up a bit with Mike in better form than some of the other numbers.

All great tracks.
