Band of Horses - Infinite Arms

Listening to this band (and album) for the first time and really liking the sounds I'm hearing. There are a lot of influences these guys incorporate into their music, without being blatant copyists (and yes, The Beach Boys are one of them).

I'm still really digging this album and I think a few of you might, too, if you give it a go.

Keep meaning to check this band out, but I am notoriously wary of beardy indie types...

All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.

One of my favourite indie/folk/vocal/beardy bands! Latest LP falls short, though...
But
Infinite Arms
was still great.

So long as someone says 'it shits on that whiny talentless swine Bon Iver from a profound and dizzying height' I can kick it with this band. I swear that man has done more to stop me listening to modern indie music than is really quite normal.
