How about a thread where we post links to every Beach Boys related interview we find? We can put them all in chronological order to help us find them for future referencing, etc.

I'll start with this one, from 1 May, 2005. Lots of great responses from Brian.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

You're not serious, are you?  Huh That's hundreds (if not thousands) of interviews on the internet alone..

Even though it's gonna be tough to find ALL of them, I think it would be interesting. And then maybe, if possible, have stack-o-tracks edit the first post to have all of them in there, arranged by date. Maybe pin the thread up at the top too.

Honestly, this is why we all need to stop being lazy and building a Beach Boys wiki. I'm not gonna be the one to lay the foundation, as I'm just not good enough at this computer stuff, but I would definitely be interested in getting a really informative wiki going.

yup.  Grin it'll be a lot of work, but it would be nice to have all the interviews in one easy to navigate thread. not sure how to get the ball rolling though.

Funny - wasn't he quoted within the last year saying he'd never heard it? Classic Brian.

Yes, that's what I did for the "Pro-shot BBs concert"-thread. I think it's a good way

Are there any good pre-1980 video interviews with Brian people can share?

pt 1.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_n0ITu2qJU
Pt 2.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awk-qcTckuw&feature=relmfu

I really like that one, but I can't find very many others on youtube.

I updated the list with a few more. Many gaps to fill, feel free to post links and I'll update the first post with them.

If you've got a better idea for formatting or spacing to make these easier to navigate, lemme know!!! If you think I should give up, that also I would like to know.  Smiley
