DENNIS: "That's Why God Made The Radio is an embarrassment to my life. It should self-destruct.. I hope that the karma will f*** up Mike Love’s meditation forever".

Charles Manson: "That's Why God Made the Radio is a nightclub. "Spring Vacation" means confusion. Literally. It doesn't mean any war with anyone. It doesn't mean that those people are going to kill other people. It only means what it means. "The Private Life of Bill and Sue" is confusion. Confusion is coming down fast. If you don't see the confusion coming down fast, you can call it what you wish. It's not my conspiracy. It is not my music. I hear what it relates. It says 'Rise!' It says 'Kill!' Why blame it on me? I didn't write the music. I am not the person who projected it into your social consciousness."

Al: "It's a great album, Man, great album.... like my album A Postcard From California that I just got out, that's a great album too, I got Gerry Beckley on there and Steve Miller, we had a blast on that album. The Beach Boys?, yeah, they're on there too, on Don't Fight The Sea, that took a long time to get done, we started it way back in the 70's and worked on it on and off since then."

Mike: That's Why God Made the Radio proves that Cousin Brian can still take these amazing chords and then layer them with beautiful, beautiful harmonies. It's all about the harmonies you know? A lot of groups don't know how to arrange vocals for shit, for example, The Rolling Stones, and that's why we're at the top and they aren't.

Brian: It's called 'That's Why God Made the Radio'

Dave: I played on the first 5 songs with them

Mike: The reason this album means so much to so many people is because of ME! Brian is meloncoly. I am mr positive thinker.

Bruce: The best  song on the album is Day Break Over the Ocean which shows Mike's genius.

Blondie: I've got my own gig, what are you asking me for?

"Over the years, I've been accused of not supporting our new music from this era (67-73) and just wanting to play our hits. That's complete b.s......I was also, as the front man, the one promoting these songs onstage and have the scars to show for it."

Bruce: The new album? Save up your pennies and get it, my friend. Now, we are finished talking about it. You hear me? I said, we are FINISHED TALKING ABOUT IT.

Carl:  I asked Brian one time, I guess we were just on a long conversation about life and some of things we have been through,  why "That's Why God Made the Radio" succeeded in such a big way, why it hit number three on the charts. He said because it celebrates the joy of life. The music on that album just celebrates the joy of life in a REAL simple way.

John Stamos: "I wish "Full House" was still on the air so the band could promote it on the show."

Al Jardine: "For the new music video, I wanted to remake that scene where the goat tries to attack me in the 1976 "It's OK" TV special."

Tom Petty: "Brian clearly *didn't* stick his head between two pieces of buttered bread for this album!"

David Marks: "We picked up right where we left off, just like the old days when I lived across the street from the Wilsons. Er, well, the "we" that included me left off in 1963, unless we're talking about the 1999 version of "we", which didn't sound anything like this new album. Phil Bardowell was a cool guy, though."

Brian Wilson: "This album came out of my throat and into the audience."

Mike Love: "We finally settled on the album title after my suggestion of "Unleash the Beach Boys" was inexplicably turned down."

Bruce Johnston: "No, seriously, Democrats are free to buy the album too!"

Ricky Fataar: "Wait, it's already the Rutles' 50th Anniversary?"

Adrian Baker: "I'm on the album too!"

Brian:  "It's like this great big album just came out of us five baby chicks.  NOBODY KNOWS HOW THAT'S DONE! And you ask us about it afterwards, and it's like we're all cool about it, you know?"

The entire group: "Does this mean we all have to appear on a late night talk show peforming in tight leather pants and dancing without instruments, like Brian did in 1988?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGfwkkm-GQI

Bruce: "Is "Friday's" still on the air? We did that show in 1980!"

Brian: "I remember when we did the Ed Sullivan show back in 1964. How is Ed doing these days?"

Al: "Okay, but on the next album *I* get to fly in a song from an unreleased solo album!"

Matt Jardine: "Hey, wasn't I *kind of* in the band in the 90's?"

Mike: "Okay, so who gets the backing band in our group divorce settlement?"

All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.
What is this "life" thing you speak of ?
