Very nice thanks.

We see now that all those videos they leaked on their YouTube channel a few weeks ago were made and then held to be distributed out to sites like RS mag to act as promo for the album/tour.

If they went to all this trouble to make us think that Marks sings on the album, why not just give him a credit in the CD booklet?

Maybe they get to pay Dave less if they don't credit him?  It IS all about the $$, after all

It's already been stated by multiple sources that everyone recorded their parts separately, so this is obviously staged.

Not that I'm surprised, but it's irritating that this stuff is staged - showing us what truly happens would be far more entertaining.

Any chance that these 'recording' clips could in effect be practice for the tour? Sing...play back...adjust...sing....works well...next song.

No. I don't think they have any plans for Shelter to be added into the setlist.

Im pretty convinced this tour is ONLY about the $ and the £ and all the rest. Fine end result, but I don't think Brian enjoys it much. he just wants dat money.

Well if you're going to make that claim just by looking at Brian then by that logic the only reason Brian toured Pet Sounds, SMiLE and Gershwin and etc was just for "dat money."

I think Brian has made it pretty clear that he is doing it partly for the money. All musicians do. Like anything that anyone does well, you work hard, you get good at what you do, then you reap the benefits from it. In the world of art, those who don't quite succeed and make money find themselves being classified as Starving Artists. Like Bruce once wrote on the chalkboard: "We're in it for the money".

The Brianista Prayer

Oh Brian
Thou Art In Hawthorne,
Harmonied Be Thy name
Your Kingdom Come,
Your Steak Well Done,
On Stage As It Is In Studio,
Give Us This Day, Our Shortenin' Bread
And Forgive Us Our Bootlegs,
As We Also Have Forgiven Our Wife And Managers,
And Lead Us Not Into Kokomo,
But Deliver Us From Mike Love.
Amen.  ---hypehat

No one is excited about the four part harmony the boys try out? Sure, Brian isn't part of the blend, but it's still kinda cool. Just the oldsters.

And, later...

"Whoa. How the hell did we do THAT?"
