Is it just me or has anyone else had "This Whole World" stuck in their head for the past 20 minutes or so?? It's morphed into the Spring version now...oh boy!

It's because it's got everything.  It's a psuedo-crazy Brian song that just happens to be incredibly good.  It has that balls-to-the-wall harmony in the background, beautiful lyrics, and just 2.5 minutes of pure positive energy.  Then they kill the music and sing acapella like nobody's ever sang before.

So good so far. I don't want it to ever end. Brian doesn't care to be honest, haha. At intermission somebody yelled his name and he waved dismissively, but everyone ate it up anyway. I don't mind though, because he's really putting everything into it vocally. I think the pressure of the rest of the bb's is making him step up. Their harmonies are sounding great, and yes they're all audible, at the front of the mix as far as I can hear. Marks is a really good presence, great singing and Gtr and rocking the shades like a baller. Mike is doing his banter (which I love. Always been a highlight for me) and has great energy, don't let his hoarse speaking voice fool you cuz his singin is awesome. Bruce did a beautiful performance of Disney girls, seriously. Al rocked the sh*t out of cotton fields. I'm not being unreasonably positive, of course others may find it different when the guys roll thru their town, but to me this is the greatest. They are working out the kinks obviously, it's the first show, but it only gives the show life and reality in my opinion. Too many good words to type. I will keep you in on the set list. Lots of cameras so everybody will see this sooner or later, thankfully.

Amazing setlist. Always look at them as though they're a mix tape, and that's a pretty good Beach Boys mix tape. Love going from the ballad section into the car section through DWB -- which is, of course, both.
