Dude, Golden Teardrops is amazing! Then again, The Flamingos are seriously the best vocalists of the doo-wop era for me.

How about...

Etta James - Stormy Weather, and At Last, which on some days I consider the sexiest song ever written.
The Orioles - It's Too Soon To Know
Dusty Springfield - The Look Of Love, which on every other day I consider the sexiest song ever written.
When Something is Wrong With My Baby - Sam & Dave
Every single ballad Otis Redding ever sung  Grin
For a modern touch, Solomon Burke's Don't Give Up On Me.
Any best of for Al Green.  Grin

And for something of a curve ball...the mighty Issac Hayes' take on "By the Time I Get to Phoenix" (with the emphasis on slllllooooowwwwww jam....).

Or try this one:

There are shorter versions out there for the faint of heart!

I was into doo wop for a long time during my teenage years (mind you, I'm only 20 now!). Here are some obscure things you might like.

I have tons of these types if you need more suggestions.
