BB related: Southern California
Otherwise, "Fawn" by Tom Waits and "Happy, The End" by Innocence Mission illicit a pretty strong emotional response from me.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

I rarely cry to music - but Isaac Hayes singing When Something Is Wrong With My Baby alone at a piano got me the other day. Good god.
Other contenders include seeing Spiritualized live for the first time, Caroline, No and the last act of La Boheme.

What is this "life" thing you speak of ?

I probably shouldn't admit this, but Beautiful Boy by John Lennon. My reason is more personal though. That song always choked me up, but the first time I listened to it after my dad died...it damn near killed me.

Certain Sigur Ros songs. I don't know what it is, it just hits me in an emotional way that no other music does. It's obviously not the lyrics. Ha.

"Take It With Me" - Tom Waits Still chokes me up. "Smiling in the Sky" - The Merrymakers. But I was listening without medication, maybe that helped it along! And just yesterday, my ex-wife sent me "The World Spins Madly On", by...The Weepies!

Not strictly a song but as a piece of music 'The Last Post' gets me every time I hear it, it's just so haunting and poignant I can't help but shed a tear. As for The Beach Boys 'God Only Knows' has got me a few times and I remember tripping my balls off on shrooms and crying tears pure of joy whilst listening to 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' especially the during the triple-bellow shake on the second bridge.
I'm with Luther and Ian, anyone who hasn't been moved to tears by music has a part of their being missing.

Sometimes it has nothing to do with sadness, just pure joy. Fingertips Part 2 by Stevie Wonder is an example. So much youth, vibrancy, soul, life pouring out through one 13-year-old kid.

I sent a jazz musician friend of mine a live recording of "Chet Baker's Unsung Swan Song" by David Wilcox, and he was weeping from it.
That version is pretty good (the KCRW one), and kd lang's version is too.
