The only time I'm all for banning someone is if and only if their continued membership is only causing problems on top of problems for people here. For example, the alleged "drunk" comment by buddhahat a while ago was addressed very quickly and was known to be just a flippant, offhand remark. That's not worthy of a ban. Someone like ghost for example...sure, he was funny at times but the posts about "Aryan this and that" (his posts about Marilyn had me quite disgusted) would definitely sit the wrong way with people. I'm personally all for people speaking their minds regardless of subject as I believe it is a fundamental human right, but when it steps on the toes of others, sometimes you can't just tell others to "ignore" it. I do believe we were justified in banning him on that alone. Kirkmc was antagonizing Scott Totten on here a while back and when I took him to task privately, he made it public and decided to go on a homophobic rampage.

I think we can all agree that you're going to be banned if one or more of these qualifications are met -

1) Threats or any speech that cause undue and unnecessary stress, worry, or grief to another poster or someone in the Beach Boys organization
2) Posting PRIVATE message content on the board without express permission of the party involved

The nudity was a conscious choice. I wanted to collect SMiLE in my natural state, almost like a baptism, a rebirth if you like.

I'm glad this moment has been captured!

Banning the guy in the first place was wrong IMO, and the schoolyard mentality that rears its crummy little head round here is often disappointing.   Considring the history, he can't be blamed for being fearful there would be problems with the release.  Maybe he came on too strong with some of it, but then people come on awful strong here about a lot of things.   Thankfully, for all of us, Phil's concerns turned out to be unfounded, but give the guy a break, stop this middle school mentality and extend the peace pipe.  In the spirit of Smile it would be the right thing to do.

I lost the other photo in a mishap; BUT, amazingly and incredibly, whle I was out on a surfing safari this past weekend, UPS brought me a stupendous surprise box! 
and inside the box was this pretty gem with the great sticker( I LOVE stickers!!!!!!) 
MONSTROUS THANK YOUs to the responsible!!  I love it!! 
Which also means I'm now able to pop the seal on the box I bought from Deep Discount and actually look at the book...

I actually did a new one. The first one was terrible (shaky camera and all) yes it does document me opening the box for the first time, but the quality was so poor that I had to redo it. At the same time I might take this one down too. Watching it I had a sudden realization about how ridiculous unboxing videos are. Sure it's fun and all, but who wants to see some guy alone in his apartment opening a box set? Anyway hope you like it
