I'm friends with you too, Alex, and have been for a long time. The social aspect of Last.fm is kinda underdeveloped, tbh. I don't see the incentive, as it's really hard to actually share music. Spotify is better in that respect.

Logged onto Last.fm this morning only to find my entire library is gone and it isn't recording what I am currently listening to. I also noticed some of you have the same problem.

Anyone have an idea what has happened?  Cry

Happened to me too but don't worry. This is what a staff member posted on the forum:

"Nothing has been lost, we're re-sharding our database which has affected a quarter of our userbase. It may take up to 24 hours for your library information to re-appear on your profile.

Update 2: All scrobbles submitted in the meantime should appear on your profile once the database maintenance has been completed."
