Smile font in Spongebob?

I was trawling through YouTube watching clips of the show Spongebob Squarepants, and I noticed something peculiar in this one:

Pause the video when the carton of milk shows up.

Look at the lowercase i. Look the way the M and the L are shaped. That's the font from the Smile album.

I guess somebody working on Spongebob is a Beach Boys enthusiast.

Looks like standard cartoony writing to me.

I remember drawing letters like that as a kid before I even knew SMiLE existed.
