A well done cover by Brian and his band.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Great job! He adds the Wilson touch but it's still recognizably Buddy's song. Too bad it was cut from the album, though... (joke)

Maybe this will earn Brian a little benefit of the doubt among those who were scorning the Disney album without having heard any of it.

That's SO GOOD. Now I'm psyched for Disney. The only caveat I have with it is that the doubled lead saps a bit of energy, but this is BW. He probably double tracks his answering machine message.

Double-tracked, but double-tracked well. I love how tender his voice sounds...a long way from the stilted vocals from earlier in his solo career.

Gosh I'm suprised, I was expecting a sludgy-by-the-numbers kinda think. This is GORGEOUS.

I like the Beatles a bit more than the Boys of Beach, I think Brian's band is the tops---really amazing. And finally, I'm liberal. That's it.

Brian's voice sounds much more relaxed and natural on this recording.

I'm not that excited. His voice sounds a little unnatural. And his singing not as enthusiastic as on BWRG (which of course had great singing). Just my first thoughts. Not as good as I hoped for.

I wasn't expecting much either, but found it suprisingly gorgeous. Brian lulled me to sleep with some of his recent material, but his arrangements on this tune and the Gershwin CD (which I also did not expect much from) have really surprised me.

Really beautiful work, better than I was expecting. Vocals sound great, and the arrangement strikes the perfect balance of Brian/Buddy. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the CD (especially Zooey Deschanel... ).

Control-click on the link, and tell it where to save it. Thanks! _____ This is one of the best BW tunes (yeah I know it's a cover) I've heard in years. Such a mellow track; Brian's voice is perfect for it, BG vocals are perfect, and I can't get enough of that instrumental track! Great replay value.
