Haven't really been keeping up recently, but saw that in the upcoming esq something about Mike, Al, Bruce, and Brian re-recording Do It Again?  Sounds cool, does anyone have any details?  I looked at the recent threads but couldn't find anything.

Jon - Why no David Marks?  Kinda makes my blood boil that they'd do something like this without David.  Maybe they'd get along better with David around.  He seems to have a calming influence.

I'm guessing he wasn't in CA at the time.

The Beach Boys went down that path too many times. They should know. On the other hand if there's something the Beach Boys are really constant in, then it's not learning from their own faults.
Again, here's hoping that Do It Again will be the only re-recording and just as the theme for the DIA-reunion-tour.

If they did it with no intention of releasing it, just to see if they can work together, from Stebbin's bird, it sounds like the answer is that they can't still work together.

This band needs the guys from VH1's "bands reunited" or a therapist to work out their problems because if what Stebbin's source said is true, it is truly sad that a band is still fighting on the verge of its 50th anniversary.
